Abstract

บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อแนะนำระบบสารสนเทศภูมิศาสตร์แก่นักวิชาการด้านมนุษยศาสตร์ที่อาจไม่คุ้นเคยกับระบบนี้ให้เข้าใจความหมาย องค์ประกอบ ความแตกต่างของระบบนี้กับระบบสารสนเทศอื่น ๆ ตลอดตนการประยุกต์ใช้ในศาสตร์แขนงอื่น ๆ

This article aims at introducing the geographical information system to academics in the humanities who may not be familiar with the system so that they will be able to understand its meaning, components, how the system is different from other information systems, and its application in other disciplines.
