Coco และ Encanto : ภาพครอบครัวชาวลาตินอเมริกาในภาพยนตร์แอนิเมชัน

บทคัดย่อ

บทความนี้มุ่งศึกษาการนำเสนอชุดคุณค่าทางวัฒนธรรมเกี่ยวกับครอบครัวตามแนวคิดครอบครัวนิยมของชาวลาตินอเมริกาที่ปรากฏในภาพยนตร์แอนิเมชันเรื่อง Coco (วันอลวน วิญญาณอลเวง) และ Encanto (เมืองเวทมนตร์คนมหัศจรรย์) โดยอาศัยกรอบแนวคิดทางสังคมเกี่ยวกับครอบครัวชาวลาตินอเมริกาเพื่อวิเคราะห์ภาพครอบครัวในภาพยนตร์ประกอบกับใช้โครงสร้างสามองก์เพื่อทำความเข้าใจกลวิธีเล่าเรื่องและวิเคราะห์ตัวบทภาพยนตร์ และใช้ทฤษฎีสัญญะวิทยาเพื่อแปลความหมายของสัญญะที่ปรากฏ จากการศึกษาพบว่า (1) ภาพยนตร์ Coco และ Encanto นำเสนอภาพครอบครัวที่สมาชิกทุกคนยึดถือคุณค่าวัฒนธรรมเกี่ยวกับครอบครัวว่ามีความสำคัญเหนือสิ่งอื่นใด (2) บทบาทความสำคัญของเพศหญิงต่อครอบครัว โดยเฉพาะผู้เป็นย่าและยายในฐานะหัวหน้าครอบครัว (3) ตัวเอกผู้เป็นหลานคือตัวแทนในการเชื่อมความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างรุ่นของสมาชิกภายในครอบครัว และ (4) ภาพยนตร์ทั้งสองเรื่องสะท้อนภาพนำเสนอตามอุดมคติและความถวิลหาอดีตของทีมผู้สร้างเกี่ยวกับวัฒนธรรมลาตินอเมริกาอันเป็นรากเหง้าของตน
