บทคัดย่อ

บทความนี้เป็นการศึกษาโคลงโลกนิติ พระนิพนธ์ของสมเด็จพระเจ้าบรมวงศ์เธอ กรมพระยาเดชาดิศร  ซึ่งเป็นวรรณกรรมคำสอนที่รู้จักกันอย่างแพร่หลาย โคลงโลกนิติใช้ภาษาที่เข้าใจง่าย และมีความดีเด่นด้านเนื้อหาที่สอนให้ผู้อ่านเข้าใจความเป็นมนุษย์ เรียนรู้ระเบียบแบบแผนของสังคม ยกย่องสิ่งดีงาม ละเว้นและอยู่ให้ห่างจากสิ่งชั่วร้าย จากการศึกษาสามารถแบ่งคำสอนหลักๆ ได้ 10 หัวข้อ คำสอนที่พบมากที่สุด คือ คำสอนที่ให้รู้จักพิจารณาและเท่าทันการสมาคมกับคนประเภทต่างๆ เนื้อหาของโคลงโลกนิติจึงทรงคุณค่าอย่างยิ่ง กล่าวคือ เป็นคำสอนที่มีเหตุผลตามหลักความเป็นจริงทั้งทางโลกและทางธรรม คำสอนต่างๆ สามารถนำไปปรับใช้ได้ตามยุคสมัย อีกทั้งมีคติสอนใจให้แก่ผู้คนทุกระดับ

This article aims to study Khlong Lokanit, composed by Krom Phraya Dechadisorn. This doctrine literature is well-known to the public due to the simplicity of language, making the poetry easily accessible. Khlong Lokanit is also distinguished by its contents which convey the following messages to its readers: to teach the concept of being a noble man; to explain social norms and moral attitudes; to value goodness and to avoid evil. This study has categorized the doctrines into ten issues. However, the dominant teaching is the lessons of consideration and awareness on how to socialize with different types of people. Therefore, the essence of Khlong Lokanit is profoundly valuable whether as practical lessons in daily life or as universal truth in Buddhism concepts. Moreover, the teachings are adaptable for all times and are thought provoking for all types of people.
