การใช้ภาพพจน์ในพระนิพนธ์ของเจ้าฟ้าธรรมธิเบศร์

บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมาย เพื่อศึกษาวิเคราะห์การใช้ภาพพจน์ในพระนิพนธ์ของเจ้าฟ้าธรรมธิเบศร์ ผลการศึกษาพบว่า การใช้ภาพพจน์ในพระนิพนธ์ของเจ้าฟ้าธรรมธิเบศร์ มีการใช้ภาพพจน์ 7 แบบ คือ อุปมา (simile) อุปลักษณ์ (metaphor) อติพจน์ (hyperbole) บุคลาธิษฐาน (personification) สัทพจน์ (onomatopoeia) ปฏิปุจฉา (rhetorical question) และการกล่าวอ้างอิงหรือเท้าความ (allusion) และศึกษาเปรียบเทียบการใช้ภาพพจน์ในพระนิพนธ์ของเจ้าฟ้าธรรมธิเบศร์กับวรรณคดีร้อยกรองในสมัยอยุธยาตอนต้น พบว่ามีทั้งเหมือนและมีพัฒนาการแตกต่างไปจากการใช้ภาพพจน์ในสมัยอยุธยาตอนต้น

The purpose of this research study were to examine the use of  figurative language in Prince Thammathibet’s literary works and to compare the use of figurative expressions in his works and those in poetical works in the early Ayutthaya period. The results of this study indicated seven types of the figurative language found in his works which are semile, metaphor, hyperbole, personification, rhetorical question, onomatopoeia and allusion. They also showed that Prince Thammattiber’s literary works have similar features as well as different development from the poetical works in the early Ayutthaya period.
