EMPLOYER ATTRACTIVENESS AFFECTING JOB APPLICATION DECISION OF 4TH-YEAR ENGINEERING STUDENTS IN THE EASTERN ECONOMIC CORRIDOR

Objectives of this research were to explore the components of employer attractiveness and to explore the employer attractiveness affecting the job application decision of 4th-year engineering students. The samples were 300 engineering students from universities in Chonburi, Rayong, and Chachoengsao. The multi-stage sampling was employed, while the questionnaire was used to collect data. Frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, exploratory factor analysis, and logistic regression were used for data analysis.
The finding revealed that the employer attractiveness components composed of five components, namely social values, environmental and economic values, marketing and acceptance values, corporate image and cooperation values, and product and career values. Further, the component affecting the job application decision of 4th-year engineering students in the eastern economic corridor was the corporate image and cooperation values.
