INDICATORS DEVELOPMENT FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF SANGHA PRACHANUKROH PROJECT OF THE SANGHA ORDER, NONTHABURI PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives of this research article were: 1. to study the level of people's opinions, 2. To study the management process, and 3. To present the development of indicators for the management of the Sangha Prajanukroh project (Sangha and People Welfare) of the Nonthaburi Provincial Sangha Order, conducted by the mixed research methods. The qualitative research, field data were collected from 18 key informants by in-depth-interview script used as a tool for data collection. and from 10 participants in focus group discussions Data were Analyzed by content descriptive interpretation. The quantitative research, by survey method, data were collected from a sample of 399 people using random stratification. The research tool used was a questionnaire. Data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation.

The research results showed that 1. The overall project management had an average (=3.48), which was at a moderate level. 2. The project management process consisted of 4 processes: personnel management process money management process material management process. 3. The development of indicators consists of: 1). There is transparency in project management and can be audited. 2) there was clear duty division, 3) there was comprehensive public relations 4) there was  responsibility towards the Sangha and the public, 5) there was continuous people’s quality of life, 6) there was regularly training for knowledge dissemination and ethical promotion, 7) there was screening mechanism for people equal helping, 8) there was monastery development to be the learning and career promotion center for people, 9) monasteries were coordinating centers and 10) organizing foundations or funds to support the project.
