MARKET, LEARNING, ENTREPRENEURIAL ORIENTATIONS EFFECT TO INNOVATIVENESS AND PERFORMANCE OF AGRICULTURAL COOPERATIVESIN THAILAND

Abstract

Objectives of this research paper were: 1. to study market orientation, learning orientation and entrepreneurial orientation that affected innovativeness and performance. 2. To study innovativeness affecting performance. 3, To study market orientation, learning orientation and entrepreneurial orientation had indirect effect to performance of agriculture cooperatives in Thailand. This was the quantitative research. Data were collected by questionnaire. The samples were 392 district agriculture cooperatives. The statistics used in this research was descriptive statistic and structural equation model analysis. Goodness of Fit are CMIN/df=1.934, CFI=0.984, GFI=0.941, RMR = 0.016 and RMSEA = 0.049.

The findings of the research were: 1. learning orientation and entrepreneurial orientation had direct effect to innovativeness and learning orientation had direct effect on performance. 2. Innovativeness had direct effect on performance, and 3. Learning orientation and entrepreneurial orientation had indirect effects on performance through innovativeness. Therefore, learning orientation was the most important fact. It helped create behavior on personnel and organization for creating new innovation. Whilst, entrepreneurial orientation supported personnel to be able to analyze business environment, to raise opportunity, to find new ideas that created innovativeness to organization.
