Abstract

Objectives of this research article were: 1. To Study the problems and obstacles of knowledge creation in economics subject of the secondary schools at the lower Northern part of Thailand, 2. To determine knowledge creation model of economics subject in secondary schools in the lower Northern part of Thailand, and 3. It was the qualitative research, to determine knowledge creation innovation model using economics and data science methods in the secondary schools in the lower Northern part of Thailand. Data of this research came from the interviews of 23 teachers, 22 schools in 8 provinces in lower Northern Thailand. Four teachers were interviewed using semi-structure question while 19 teachers were interviewed using structured questions.

The research results indicated that knowledge creation problems mostly came from the obstacles of active learning. The knowledge creation model was then the elimination of active and passive learning management problems at school and apply knowledge creation model and the knowledge creation innovation model. The latter model used experienced-based learning philosophy through the integration of economics methods with data science methods at every step of knowledge creation process.
