THE DEVELOPING PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT SKILLS AND ACCOUNTING FOR PHETCHABURI COMMUNITY ENTERPRISE TO SUSTAINABLE GRASSROOTS ECONOMY DEVELOPMENT WITH THE FREEWARE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

Abstract

Objectives of this research article were to study the problems and guidelines for upskill and potentials of manpower in production management and accounting of community enterprises in Phetchaburi Province with the freeware information technology and to assess satisfaction with efficiency of the system after training activities by using mixed research methodology. The instrument of the qualitative research was in-depth-interview script and quantitative research instrument was a questionnaire. The samples in the study were the chair persons and community enterprise committee members by using a specific selection method in community enterprises operating in the production. The analysis of qualitative data was based on a content descriptive interpretation method and quantitative data analysis methods used statistical values ​​such as frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation.

The results of this research showed that the community enterprises lacked knowledge in production management and accounting. The Training activities should be to upskill, knowledge and manpower potentials in production management and accounting skills. The assessment results after training activities to upskill in production management and accounting with freeware information technology in the system efficiency, there was a satisfaction with performance of the system’s freeware technology, mean was at the highest level. The expected benefits with the mean at the highest level. The ease of use, the mean was at the highest level. The interest in implementing system, the mean was at the highest level. There were suggestions as a guideline for developing the system for further use.
