DEVELOPMENT MAGNET PROGRAM FOR PREPARE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS TO UNIVERSITY

This research aimed to develop Magnet Program to prepare high school students for university. This was participatory research: school administrators, and high school teachers of Horwang School, and Horwang Pathum Thani School, that were significant information providers. Procedures were 1) selecting and creating a curriculum framework 2) developing courses 3) evaluating curriculum framework and courses according to experts’ commentaries. 4) trying out courses in the first semester of Matthayom 4. Data are analyzed by using frequency, percentage, and content analysis.
The results of this research were found 1) 3 Magnet Programs 2) Additional courses: STEM 38 courses, Law 18 courses, and Health Science 37 courses. 3) Curriculum documents composed of the curriculum framework, study plans, courses, course descriptions, units, and lesson plans. 4) Most experts commented that the curriculum framework of all programs, courses, and course descriptions in each program were appropriate. 5) Students who registered in each program in the first semester of Matthayom 4 were satisfied.
