THE QUALITY OF WORK LIFE AFFECTING THE ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT OF THE GOVERNMENT SCHOOL TEACHERS UNDER THE SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE NONTHABURI

Abstract

The objectives of this study were to 1. study the level of the quality of work life of the government schoolteachers under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Nonthaburi, 2. study the level of the organizational commitment of the government schoolteachers under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Nonthaburi, and 3) analyze the quality of work life affecting the organizational commitment of the government schoolteachers under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Nonthaburi. The data collection was conducted with a questionnaire from a sample group of 350 government schoolteachers under the secondary educational service area office Nonthaburi. All collected data was analyzed through frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and stepwise multiple regression analysis.

The results show that 1. the level of the quality of work life of the government teachers under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Nonthaburi was high; 2. the level of the organizational commitment of the government school teachers under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Nonthaburi was high; and 3. the quality of work life that has the highest influence on the organizational commitment of the government school teachers under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Nonthaburi was the constitution statutes in the organization, followed by the social integration, the pride in the organization, the job progression and the work stability, and the work-life balance.
