KNOWLEDGE CAPTURING ON THE MODEL SUB-DISTRICT DEVELOPMENT OF STRONG COMMUNITY OF COMMUNITY ORGANIZATION COUNCIL IN CHIANG RAI PROVINCE: A CASE STUDY OF PA OR DON CHAI SUB-DISTRICT, MUANG DISTRICT, CHIANG RAI PROVINCE AND SANTISUK SUB-DISTRICT, PHAN DISTRICT, CHIANG RAI PROVINCE

Abstract

Objectives of this research was to capture Knowledge on the modelled Sub-District development of strong community of community organization council in Chiang Rai Province. to determine the development guidelines for the modelled sub-district of the strong community (self-management community). The research was studied for the knowledge capturing of the leaders and relevant people to the group development, maximum of 15 persons from each area. The four-dimensional self-assessment with 29 indicators was used as the research tool. The collected data were analyzed with the percentage using the software package that was developed by the Community Organizations Development Institute (CODI)

Research results showed that the development guidelines for the modelled sub-district of the strong community (self-management community). consisted of three domains. Firstly, it was the steering mechanism that the basic factor was the exchange activities, and the reinforced factor was the informal relationship system. Secondly, it was the output which was the development of concepts and capability that led to self-management and the adjustment of the structural relationship. Lastly, it was the outcome which the key mechanism was the substantial problem-solving toward the participation, the new generation of leaders, and the strong community that resulted in the development guidelines for the strong community innovation (self management).
