COOPERATIVE LEARNING ACTIVITY MANAGEMENT WITH TEAM-GAMES-TOURNAMENT TECHNIQUE TO PROMOTE ENGLISH READING SKILLS AND COLLABORATIVE SKILLS OF HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

Nowadays, Thailand's education, English management, teaching styles and techniques are very important for promoting diverse skills effectively. Cooperative learning with team-games-tournament technique is a guideline for teaching by dividing learners into small groups based on recognizing a different student's ability. Furthermore, it can also encourage interaction among the students. This paper had synthesized by presentation learning management of cooperative learning with team-games-tournament technique to promote English reading skills and collaborative skills. Moreover, this paper going to present academic games in team-games-tournament technique to promote English reading skills and collaborative skills of high school students.
From the study, it was found that the concept of cooperative learning with team-games-tournament technique is the teaching method that can promote English reading skills and collaborative skills efficiently by using collaborative strategic reading that has the foundation form cooperative learning and improving the motivation of students, a good attitude and create a positive class environment in the classrooms with funning by using academic games. This paper will be a guideline for teaching English in the future.
