Abstract

This article aimed to present Smart City and local development by knowing the local development approach by using Smart City to develop the local economy, society, culture, and environment. Smart City is a link between urban infrastructure and local development. The local area used the available resources appropriately. The use of technology to apply to local developments. The current technological advances are changing rapidly, emphasizing the participation of the people by facilitating the people. Each aspect consisted of 1. Smart Environment, 2. Smart Economy, 3. Smart People, 4. Smart Governance, 5. Smart Living, 6. Smart Mobility, Traveling and Smart transport 7. Smart Energy In each aspect of development will result in local efficiency and local participation in local administration. Smart City plays an important role in every aspect to ensure people's comfort, security, and safety in life. and can develop the local area with efficiency in using Smart City came to develop the locality to meet the needs of the local people.
