FACTORS THAT PROMOTE THE PERFORMANCE OF PHRAVINYATHIKARN IN KHLONG LUANG DISTRICT, PATHUMTHANI PROVINCE

Abstract

Objectives of this article were to study the level of opinions, compare opinions, study problems, obstacles and suggestions on the performance of the Vinyathikarn's duties, Khlong Luang District Pathumthani Province conducted by mixed methods research.  

Findings were found that 1. The monks had to perform duties of Vinyathikarn. Khlong Luang District Pathumthani Province, by overall, was at the medium level ( = 2.970, S.D. = 0.619) 2. The results of the research hypothesis test showed that the monks of different ages and different rain retreat years had opinions on the performance of duties of Vinyathikarn Khlong Luang District Pathumthani Province, as a whole differently, therefore accepted the set hypothese. 3. Problems and obstacles in connection with Phra Vinyathikarn Khlong Luang District Pathumthani Province were found that the Vinyathikarn had little leadership, did not dare to make complete decision, were unable to take care of duties thoroughly in some areas where it was difficult to travel and did not plan the activities together with primate and rulers and there is no supporting concrete legal certification causing the performance of duty could not be performed with ease. The suggestion was that the Vinyathikarn monks should be trained to be good-natured, knowledgeable, capable, and friendly. There should be a budget to support the performance of Vinyathikarn's duties. Vinyathikarn should be coordinated with the primate, guardian and government officials before working every time There should be legal laws to guarantee  Vinyathikarn monks duty performance concretely.
