THE DEVELOPMENT OF SUPERVISION MONITORING AND EVALUATION CAPABILITIES IN RESEARCH TO DEVELOP TEACHING AND LEARNING MODEL FOR STUDENT TEACHERS

Abstract

The purposes of this research were: 1) to develop the model of supervision and evaluation capabilities in research to develop teaching and learning for student teachers and 2) to study the result of using the model of supervision and evaluation capabilities in research to develop teaching and learning for student teachers.

  The research methodology consisted of 2 steps. Step 1 improvement the model by surveying the basic information, problems and needs after that synthetic the concepts and theory for development the model. The model has been validated by 9 qualified experts who analyze data by averaging, standard deviation and content analysis. And step 2 studying the result of using model of supervision and evaluation capabilities in research to develop teaching and learning for student teachers. The target group were 9 the university supervisors, 10 the field experiences, 40 the supervising teachers, 40 student teachers and 257 students of student teachers. The experiments instruments were: 3-evaluation form of evaluation capabilities in research to develop teaching and learning and survey of satisfaction form which the data was analyzed by using frequency, percentage, average, standard deviation and content analysis.

  The findings of the research were as follows: 1) the model of supervision and evaluation capabilities in research to develop teaching and learning for student teachers consisted of 3 sections. First section, the row of development the evaluation capabilities; second section, the process of development the evaluation capabilities and third section, the evaluation of development the evaluation capabilities which found the quality of utility, possibility appropriateness and accuracy in a high level 2) the capabilities in research to develop teaching and learning for student teachers has been through the quality criteria in high level or excellent which the research of student teachers able to develop students for the purposes of research, the average percentage of 94.48. The level of the satisfaction of the university supervisors, the field experiences, and the supervising teachers towards are the quality of utility, possibility appropriateness and accuracy in a high level.
