IMPLEMENTATION OF GOOD GOVERNANCE PRINCIPLES TO THE ADMINISTRATION OF SAMUTSAKHON CITY MUNICIPALITY, SAMUTSAKORN POVINCE

This research aims to study the implementation of good governance principles to the administration of Samutsakhon City Municipality, Samutsakorn Povince. The population of this research was the personnel in the municipal office, including party executive council, consists of a mayor and deputy mayor, and the council, including the chairman, deputy chairman of the council and council members, department officials, including deputy secretary of the municipal councils, and chief of all armed. The tools used to collect information by the interviews. The statistics used in this study included descriptive statistics.
The study found that :
- Samutsakhon City Municipality enhancing knowledge and attitudes in a positive way about the good governance to the people, if municipal staffs are knowledgeable and have a positive attitude towards the adoption of good governance practices in the workplace. Public Services in the municipality will be even more efficiently.
- Preparation of project plans and training staff to develop a deeper understanding of the principles of good governance of Samutsakhon City Municipality should make a significant difference to the level of education and jobs, as well as party affiliations of personnel to be trained and developed, by focusing on a better understanding of the integration of the principles of good governance into practice, as well as to promote the development of good governance in Samutsakhon City Municipality. It will work to serve the community effectively. It is recognized by the public and set a good example to society.
- Samutsakhon City Municipality should the project or plan on adopting good governance principles in 6 articles to perform a systematic and concrete. The study needs good governance should focus on promoting good governance in the equity, transparency, and primary responsibility to bring the good governance practices to be more efficient and productive, concentrations and in accordance with the conditions of Samutsakhon City Municipality most.
