USING OF OFFICE AUTOMATION SYSTEM TO INCREASE EFFICIENCY OF HOSPITAL SERVICES IN THE NOTHEN EAST OF THAILAND

The research aimed to study the using of office automation system to increase efficiency of hospital services in the north east of Thailand. A survey questionnaire was used to data collection from 234 persons who were related to office automation and were working at the hospital in the north east of Thailand. Data was analyzed by descriptive statistics including Frequency, Percentage, Mean and Standard Deviation; and inferential statistics including Independent Samples ttest, One-Way ANOVA, LSD and Stepwise Multiple Linear Regression at the significance level of .05. The results showed that an opinion survey of the using of office automation system, and the efficiency of hospital services were at high level. The hypothesis results found that age, education level, working position, and the service level of the hospitals were differences at the significance level of .05. The stepwise multiple linear regressions showed that the efficiency of hospital services (YT) was influenced by benefit (X1), usability (X2), easement (X3), and learning development (X4) which was formed equation as follows: YT = 0.606+0.213X1+0.143X2+0.261X3+0.236X4 with 70.06% of ability to predict. In addition, multiple correlation coefficients showed a value (R) of 0.841.
