An Application of Buddhist Administration Model of The Basic Educational Institution In Nonthaburi Province

Abstract

Objectives of this research were 1) to study common issues and problemsof basic education 2) to study Buddhism, concepts and theories related to basiceducation administration and 3) to propose the Buddhist application managementstyle for basic education in Nonthaburi province.The research methodology was mixed methods both qualitative anquantitative. For qualitative research collected data from documents and in-depth-interviewing 18 qualified key informants and 9 participants in focus groupdiscussion, analyzed data by descriptive interpretation. The quantitative researchcollected data from 226 samples with questionnaires, analyzed data withdescriptive and inferential statistics.Findings were as follows:common issues and problems of basic education were that teacherpersonnel were limited, budget had problems,materials and equipmentmanagement had loophole and school administration was not responding to thepolicy. (2) The application of Buddhadhamma was to use ltthipada 4,Sappurisadhamma 7 with the management principles, (3) Samples' opinion towardsthe application of Buddhist administration were at high level in all aspects;planning,organizing, staffing, directing and controlling.
