THE STUDY OF THE PROBLEM AND NEED WELFARE OF THE ELDERLY ALLOWANCE OF KHOK- PEE-KONG SUB-DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION ORGANIZATION, MOUNG DISTRICT, SA-KAEO PROVINCE.

Abstract

This research aims were (1) to study the opinion of social welfare of the elderly problems in Khok Pee Kong subdistrict administration organization, Moung district, Sa Kaeo Province, (2) to study the opinion of social welfare of the elderly needs in Khok Pee Kong subdistrict administration organization, Moung district,                 Sa Kaeo Province, (3) to compare the elderly’s personal factors with their social welfare problems in Khok Pee Kong Subdistrict Administration Organization, Moung district, Sa Kaeo province and (4) to compare the elderly’s personal factors with their social welfare needs in Khok Pee Kong subdistrict administration organization, Moung district, Sa Kaeo province. The sample used in this study were 377 people : divided into two groups: the officers were involved in social welfare for the elderly, chiefs executive of subdistrict administration organization, the chief officers of the subdistrict administrative organizations, provincial administrative officers, officials, the community development officials and the plan and policy analysis of Khok Pee Kong subdistrict administration organization, Moung district, Sa Kaeo province. The tools used for collecting the data was a questionnaire. The statistics used to analyze the data were percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test for independent sample and F- test.

The findings of this research were as follows:

1. The social welfare of the elderly problems in Khok Pee Kong subdistrict administration organization, Moung district, Sa Kaeo province, overall moderate level. Consideringthattheside withthehighestfactor issocial protectionfortheelderly, servicesto the elderly, the processing and knowledge development of the elderly and managementoperationselderly is the less.
2. 2. The social welfare of the elderly needs in Khok- Pee-Kong subdistrict administration organization, Moung district, Sa Kaeo province, overall high level. Considering that the side with the highest factor is the administrative operations elderly is the highest, the second is the processing and knowledge development of the elderly economic, social and cultural and health and the environment is the less.

The opinion of social welfare of the elderly problems as a whole was significantly different at the .05 When considered separately the opinion was significantly different at the .05 level in the preparation of the elderly population to quality and the field of social protection for the elderly but the management operations elderly, the promotion of the elderly and the aging services
4. 4. The opinion of welfare workers and social welfare receivers on the problems in providing social welfare for the elderly as a whole was significantly different at the .05 level; and when considered separately, their opinion was significantly different in every aspect at the .05
