Abstract

 The purposes of this study were: 1) to compare achievement motivation between experimental group and the control group after the experiment. 2) to compare achievement in mathematics between the experiment al group and the

control group after the experiment. 3) to study the relationship between achievement motivation and achievement in mathematics. The sample consisted of 30 prathomsuksa six students, in second semester, the academic year 2012, in

AnubanBangpae School (Chum chon Bang par-Tai). They were randomly assigned to form the experimental and control groups. The instruments used in this research were: 1) The Advanced Progressive Matrices 2) Achievement Motivation Test 3) Achievement in Mathematics Test. Mean, Standard Deviation, The Kolmogorov Test, and t-test were used for data analysis. The results showed that: 1) there were significant differences at the 0.05 level

in achievement motivation between the experimental and control groups after the experiment. 2) there was no significant differences at the 0.05 level in achievement in mathematics after the experiment between the experimental and control groups. 3) there was a moderate positive correlations between achievement motivation and achievement in mathematics.
