Abstract

Title: Direction of Social Sciences, Humanities and Education Research for next Decade. Field: Social Sciences Name: Dr.Pratheep Chatsuphang, Dr.Wuttinan Kantatian, Dr.Patreeya Kitchareon.This publication was a part of research project. The main objective was to study the direction of social sciences, humanities, and education research for next decade. (A.D. bool - bolo) That was for establishing new bodies of knowledge to society and developing public policies in the future. This research ran by Mahidol policy to be the research university Research was designed by qualitative methods, such as documentary research for studying research papers based on online data during A.D. boole - boom in Social Sciences and Humanities Faculty of Mahidol University, academic seminar, Focus Group Discussion, and in-depth Interview. Boundaries of contents were themes, areas, funding's, identities, staffs' specifications, social problems issues, utilities, and integration of researches. Content was analyzed by comparing fact and expectation and by synthesizing direction of Social Sciences, Humanities and Education Research. Main findings of the direction of Social Sciences, Humanities and Education Research were integration research on the fundamental of each science for responding against the social problems unto the public policies. This study suggested that the occurring institutions should make the policy and strategies for responding to future direction of Social Sciences, Humanities and Education Research. Aiming of the policies were developing competencies and sustainable development, solving problems both active and passive, and including country level, institution level, and individual level.
