Factors Influencing the Decision Making to Hire Foreign Workers of Entrepreneurs in Watthana Nakhon District, Khlong Hat District, Aranyaprathet District And Ta Phraya District Sa Kaeo Province
Abstract
The purposes of this research were 1) to study the level of factors influencing the traders’ decision on the employment of foreign labours in Watthana Nakhon, Khlong Hat, Aranyaprathet and Ta Phraya district, Sa Kaeo province, 2) to study the level of factors influencing the traders’ decision on the employment of foreign labours in Watthana Nakhon, Khlong Hat, Aranyaprathet and Ta Phraya
district, Sa Kaeo province, 3) to study the relationship of factors influencing the traders’ decision on the employment of foreign labours in Watthana Nakhon, Khlong Hat, Aranyaprathet and Ta Phraya district, Sa Kaeo province, 4) to study the suggestion of factors influencing the traders’ decision on the employment of foreign labours in Watthana Nakhon, Khlong Hat, Aranyaprathet and Ta Phraya district, Sa
Kaeo province. The samples consisted of 400 traders in Watthana Nakhon, Khlong Hat, Aranyaprathet and Ta Phraya district, Sa Kaeo province. The research was divided into 2 steps. The first step was to study the factors affecting the decision for the employment of foreign labors. The research instrument was a questionnaire. The second step was to study the suggestion for traders’ decision for the
employment of foreign labors. The research instrument was an interview. The data were analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation and multiple regression
The research findings were as follows:
1. The level of factors influencing the traders’ decision on the employment of foreign labours in Watthana Nakhon, Khlong Hat, Aranyaprathet and Ta Phraya district, Sa Kaeo province was at a high level. When considering each aspect, it was found that the highest mean were insufficient labour, traders’ management policy and the diligence and endurance of foreign labours respectively.
2. The level if factors influencing the traders’ decision on the employment of foreign labours in Watthana Nakhon, Khlong Hat, Aranyaprathet and Ta Phraya district, Sa Kaeo province was at a high level. When considering each item, it was found that the highest mean were the diligence and endurance of foreign labours, wages and insufficient labour respectively.
3. The relationship of factors influencing the traders’ decision on the employment of foreign labours in Watthana Nakhon, Khlong Hat, Aranyaprathet and Ta Phraya district, Sa Kaeo province, it was found that job character and employment decision for foreign labour, job character and the diligence of foreign labours, job character and insufficient labours were significant effects at 0.01 Insufficient labours was related with the employment of foreign labour at the significant at 0.05 whereas job character and traders’ management policy was significantly different at 0.01
4. The suggestion of factors influencing the traders’ decision on the employment of foreign labours in Watthana Nakhon, Khlong Hat, Aranyaprathet and Ta Phraya district, Sa Kaeo province, job character aspect: Job is not popular for Thai, because it is hard work, some have to do at night, rest time uncertainty. The traders’ management policy aspect: Planning should take into account the issue of the management of foreign workers as well in guidelines in practice and should have an organization or agency that supports the organized workers in such a comprehensive way at every step.
