CREATING EQUALITY IN SOCIETY: CONCEPTS BASED ON GOOD GOVERNANCE

Equality is considered the basis of human dignity. Human are equally guaranteed and protected by law as human beings. Without considering other qualifications such as race, religion, native language, etc. At the same time, it can be regarded that this principle of equality governs the state from using its powers arbitrarily. By exercising the power of the state to a group of persons, the state must be able to explain why the state acts to cause an effect or to benefit a particular person. Therefore, this article focuses on describing equality concepts, explain and compare the status between the poor and the rich who are treated with the unequal equality in Thai society including creating equality and equality on the basis of good governance.

In order to conform the copyright law, all article authors must sign the consignment agreement to transfer the copyright to the Journal including the finally revised original articles. Besides, the article authors must declare that the articles will be printed in only the Journal of MCU Journal of Social Sciences. If there are pictures, tables or contents that were printed before, the article authors must receive permission from the authors in writing and show the evidence to the editor before the article is printed.
