Political Culture of Democracy in Roi-et Province

Abstract

This research aims to study : 1) democratic political culture 2) Factors related to democratic political culture. and 3) Predictability of factors influencing democratic political culture. The population was 1,309,708 people in Roi Et
province. 400 samples. Multi-stage sampling. The tool used to collect data was a questionnaire. Statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation. Test hypotheses by analyzing Pearson's product moment
correlation coefficient. And analysis of multiple regression equations. The research found that; Democratic political culture of the people are overall high. The relationship between factors and democratic political culture
found that democratic political attitudes and the understanding of democracy has a moderately positive relationship with democratic political culture that statistically significant. The correlation coefficients were 0.650 and 0.539 , respectively. And predictability of factors influencing democratic political culture include democratic attitudes, understanding democracy and political participation behavior. )  was 0.457 , 0.278 and 0.130 respectively. The coefficient of correlation (R) was 0.660
(R2) is 0.435 and has the power to forecast 43.50 percent
