THE AGE FULL OGHA

Abstract

This an academic article aimed to study 1) the present era, and 2) the
scriptures era. The results showed that the era can be any periods of time.
Historians have divided the era into two periods; prehistory and the historical
period. The scriptures era also could be divided into two periods: wholesome deteriorating era and unwholesome growing era while wholesome growing era and
unwholesome deteriorating era. In era of wholesome deteriorating and
unwholesome growing era, human beings age would be reduced from 80,000 years
to 10 years. A girl was only 5 years old; she could be married. When human beings
were 10 years old; they would be killed each other for 7 days. So there would be a
lot of casualties. In the era of wholesome growing era and unwholesome
deteriorating era, human age would be increased from the age of 10 years until the
age of 80,000 years then Phra Sri Ariya Mettrai -- the next Bodhisattva who will save
mankind would be occurred in the world. In the present day, it can be as
wholesome deteriorating era and unwholesome growing era that human beings are
slaves of unwholesome – desire or the circle of birth and death. Desire is the
passion of slavery in excess of necessity and it will continue to enter the full
wholesome age declined. Men would be killed each other. Even nowadays, human
beings are beginning to kill each other increasingly a year. Therefore it is soon to be
ended in human society if we are careless.
