DEVELOPMENT OF HUMAN WELFARE : A CASE STUDY OF MAHAMAKUT BUDDHIST UNIVERSITY ISANCAMPUS

Abstract

The purposes of this research were: (1) to study a development of personnel’s welfare system of Mahamakut Buddhist University Isan campus, (2) to study and compare the development of personnel’s welfare system of Mahamakut Buddhist University Isan campus and define the personnel’s factors. (3) to study the recommendations in developing the personnel’s welfare system of Mahamakut Buddhist University Isan campus. The sample used in this research was the personnel of Mahamakut Buddhist University Isan campus from calculating the population size by using Taro Yamane formula, got 70 numbers of sample size used in this research, used multistage of sampling, the questionnaires in data collection, analyzed data by using a package of computer program. The used statistics were the Frequency,Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, T-Test and One Way Anova of Variance-Anova or F-Test, tested the significance at 0.05 level.

The research result was found as follows;

1. The personal factor mostly was male 51.4 percentage, aged between 46 and over 25.7 percentage, had master degree 45.7 percentage, single status 62.9 percentage, academic personnel 55.7 percentage, salary between 30,001 up 42.9 percentage.
2. The development of personnel’s welfare system of Mahamakut Buddhist University Isan campus was found that the development of personnel’s welfare system including all parts was had a low level, average 2.44. When considering each aspect, it was found that the part of recreational welfare was in medium, had average 3.31. Subordinately, the part of educational welfare was in medium, had average 2.65.

3. The factors having relationship to development of personnel’s welfare system of Mahamakut Buddhist University Isan campus was found that data analysis, experiment comparing the relation between variable by using One Way Anova of Variance-Anova or F-Test. And a test of significance at 0.05 was found that the factors having relationship to development of personnel’s welfare system of Mahamakut Buddhist University Isan campus statistical significantly at 0.05 were the service personnel.

4. The additional recommendations and opinions about development of personnel’s welfare system of Mahamakut Buddhist University Isan campus. Found that annual bonus was good welfare for the personnel, good welfare was award apart regular remuneration was alike a gift and encouragement instead of worry that an organization having for staff such as the part of nursing welfare for employee and the part of part-time working welfare etc, and welfare arrangement had to be thorough and fair by creating welfare to stabilize one’s work, to be the gift and encouragement in working
