A MODEL OF HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT IN ACCODANCE WITH THE SANGHA DEVELOPMENT IN PETCHABOON PROVINCE

Abstract

Objectives of this Research were 1) to study condition of human resource development in Petchaboon province to study applied concepts, theory and Buddhadhamma relating  to the human resource development, 2) to study applied concepts, theory and Buddhadhamma relating  to the human resource development and 3) to propose a model of human resource development in accordance with Sangha Development in Petchaboon province.

            Findings were as follows:

  1. The condition of human resource development according to Buddhadhamma in Petchaboon Province was that; 1) education; teaching morality in schools and social service for public benefits, 2) training; Buddhaputra, sons of Buddha, camping activities and Dhamma to schools, and 3) Development; setting good example from model persons and rewarding and precaution resulting from education and training that brought peace and order in community, mindfulness in daily activities. This practice reduced conflict and increased more love and harmony.
  2. Concept and theory of human resource development consisted of 4 elements; education, training, morale enrichment, accident prevention and safety precaution that can be effectively integrated in human resource development. Buddhadhamma related to human resource development are Tisihhka; Sila, precepts,for behavioral development, Samadhi, meditation, for mental development and Panna, wisdom, for body of knowledge development.

          3. A model of human resource development in accordance with the Sangha development in Petchaboon Province revealed as followers; 1) model of education in line with Buddhism indicated that development began with self by controlling body, speech and mind, living livelihood with reasons leading to others and society development, 2) model of training according to Buddhism revealed that community participation in occasional activities on important days, using education as good basis of understanding, of behavioral development and right and reasonable concept, and 3) model of Development according to Buddhism was that there should be joyous activities, honoring good persons as examples and rewarding to help people have good morale to follow examples and indicated that guideline for mindfulness in life and daily activities induced peace and happiness for self and society.
