THE SCENARIO OF WELFARE HOME FOR CHILDREN MANAGEMENT IN THE NEXT DECADE (2017-2027)

This research is qualitative research (futures research approach) to study
the scenario of welfare home for children management in the next decade
(2017-2027) in strategic management of the welfare home for children, help and
coordination, and providing welfare and services by using the methodology of
Ethnographic Delphi Futures Research (EDFR) collecting data by interviewing
(EDFR’s interview technique) 18 experts who are long term experiencing in
welfare home for children. The 18 experts were categorized into 4 groups: 1) the
executives who play a role in national policy setting. 2) the directors who work
in the government welfare home for children 3) the directors who work in the
private welfare home for children and 4) the social worker, academics,
professors, and experts who experienced in welfare home for children and the
outcome from the interview were created the rating scale questionnaires and
the outcome used for concluded the potential futures of the scenario of welfare
home for children management in the next decade (2017-2027).
The research findings revealed that:
1. the potential futures of the scenario of welfare home for children
management in the next decade (2017-2027) in strategic management of the
welfare home for children was highlighted in personnel in welfare home for
children. 2. The potential futures of the scenario of welfare home for children
management in the next decade (2017-2027) in help and coordination of the
welfare home for children was highlighted in networking which government
organization, none government organization, community and others
organizations to become a part with welfare home for children in term of help
and coordination. 3. the scenario of welfare home for children management in
the next decade (2017-2027) in providing welfare and services of the welfare
home for children was highlighted in centralizing children in welfare home as
main priority which considering the most benefit to the children in the welfare
home for children.
