Abstract

The development for Functionalism or “Duty of duty” received grandeur from train of thought in biology evoluation. The key players in Sociology academician was Auguste Comte, 1798-1857 who started new technology as was named Sociologie. In France language or sociology devided in 2 big groups as followed Social Order and Social Dynamics. He identified some factor that had effect or function to those condition such as family unit and religion unit. In order to change dynamics in devide up the work. Next mastermind generation sucha as Emile Durkheim, 1858-1917 , Herbert Spencer, 1870-1903 and Talcott Parsons, 1902-1979. The important hypothesis of theory or paradigm in Functionalism were Stability, Harmony and Evolution. So that the condemnation will brought to theory improvement that made Robert K. Merton (1910-2003) and Neo-functionalism by contemporary academician were Jeffrey C. Alexander (1947) and Paul Colomy
