THE ROLE OF THE OFFICE OF MEETING INCENTIVE TRAVELS EXHIBITION FOR TOURISM PROMOTION IN THAILAND

Abstract

The finding of this research were as follows 1) Private Sectors played major roles in performing convention and exhibition tourism, according to their efficiency in foreign connection and human resource. On the other sides Government agencies concern on facilitation and coordination for assisting MICE tourist. Thai Government should focus on Human Resource Development and foreign language capacity, together with acquired service mind. Meanwhile private sector must maintain their performances. 2) Public Sectors should setup network for supporting MICE industry, in order to provide MICE Tourism activities as foreign direct investment and Thai tourism industry development. Public sector must get an accreditation from foreign partners since it correlated with MICE industry development. 3) Public administration should applied new public service concepts for solving the bureaucratic problem that obstructed MICE development. 4) Thailand Convention and exhibition bureau should upgrading her change management doctrine in order to compliance the uncertain world Social Economics and political changes.
