การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 3 ประการ ได้แก่ (1) เพื่อศึกษาระดับของตัวแปรครูผู้สอน การสนับสนุนจากผู้ปกครอง ความเครียดในการสอบ การรับรู้ความสามารถของตนเอง การกำกับดูแลตนเอง และความสำเร็จทางการเรียนรู้ด้วยตนเองของนักศึกษา (2) เพื่อศึกษาอิทธิพลของตัวแปรดังกล่าวต่อความสำเร็จทางการเรียนรู้ด้วยตนเอง และ (3) เพื่อสร้างแบบจำลองความสำเร็จทางการเรียนรู้ด้วยตนเองของนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลพระนคร การวิจัยใช้ระเบียบวิธีเชิงปริมาณ เก็บข้อมูลจากนักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 1 จำนวน 360 คน ด้วยแบบสอบถามที่ผ่านการตรวจสอบความเที่ยงตรงและความเชื่อมั่น (Cronbach's Alpha = 0.78–0.93) และวิเคราะห์ด้วยสถิติ เชิงพรรณนาและโมเดลสมการโครงสร้าง ผลการวิจัยพบว่าตัวแปรส่วนใหญ่อยู่ในระดับมาก ยกเว้นความสำเร็จทางการเรียนรู้ด้วยตนเองที่อยู่ในระดับปานกลาง ครูผู้สอน การสนับสนุนจากผู้ปกครอง และความเครียดในการสอบมีอิทธิพลทางตรงเชิงบวกต่อการรับรู้ความสามารถของตนเอง ซึ่งส่งผลทางตรงต่อการกำกับดูแลตนเองและความสำเร็จทางการเรียนรู้ด้วยตนเอง นอกจากนี้ การกำกับดูแลตนเองยังมีอิทธิพลทางตรงต่อความสำเร็จทางการเรียนรู้ และมีอิทธิพลทางอ้อมผ่านการรับรู้ความสามารถของตนเอง ผลการวิเคราะห์โมเดลมีค่าดัชนีความสอดคล้องในเกณฑ์ดี (χ²/df = 2.63, GFI = 0.91, CFI = 0.95, RMSEA = 0.06) แสดงให้เห็นว่าโมเดล TPTSSA สามารถอธิบายกลไกปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อความสำเร็จทางการเรียนรู้ของนักศึกษาได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ข้อเสนอแนะจากงานวิจัยส่งเสริมให้สถาบันอุดมศึกษาพัฒนาการจัดการเรียนรู้ที่เน้นการเสริมสร้างการรับรู้ความสามารถของตนเองและการกำกับดูแลตนเอง เพื่อยกระดับความพร้อมของผู้เรียนให้สามารถเรียนรู้และพัฒนาตนเองได้อย่างต่อเนื่อง
