Samples consisted of research on topics related to higher education innovation, higher education innovations that are good practices, and researchers or innovators who create higher education innovations. The three kinds of research instruments were a data record form, a survey questionnaire, and an in-depth interview form. Data was collected during July 2023 - February 2024. Descriptive statistics and content analysis were used to analyze the data. The major research findings were as follows: (1) there were 214 synthesized Higher Education (HE) innovations and most of them were innovations from autonomous Higher Education Institutions (26.17 %), followed by government HEIs (25.23 %) and Rajabhat Universities (25.23 %), private HEIs (20.10 %) and Rajamangala University of Technology (3.27 %), respectively, (2) HE innovation is divided into 6 types: 1) Innovation in curriculum and learning management, 2) innovation in manpower production and development, 3) technology innovation, 4) innovation in new mechanisms or processes, 5) social innovation, and 6) database innovation, and (3) HE innovations that are 5 good practices and lessons learned include 1) a short-term income-generating and high-impact training course, 2) a system for checking students into class using facial recognition technique, 3) Sustainability Driving Model: UPC4Local-SDGs Action Model, 4) Merli Process Management System and AGI Platform, and 5) New Learning and Teaching Management Platform for the Post-COVID-19 Era.</p> Subin Yurarach Ekathip Sookvaree Copyright (c) 2024 Journal of Innovation and Management https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2024-04-04 2024-04-04 9 1 7 22 Qualitative Characteristics of Useful Financial Information Increasing Competitive Advantages in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Bangkok https://so03.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/journalcim/article/view/274681 <p>This paper aims 1) to identify qualitative characteristics of useful financial information and competitive advantage levels in small and medium enterprise (SMEs) in Bangkok areas and 2) to investigate qualitative characteristics of useful financial information increasing competitive advantages in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Bangkok areas. A sample group was 400 accounting executives. Data collection was performed by questionnaires. Standard deviation (S.D.) and multiple regression analysis were applied in data analysis. All statistical analysis was performed by SPSS.</p> <p>It was revealed that 1) overall, most participants had the most favorable view on the importance of qualitative characteristics of the useful financial information (x̄ = 4.27) while the competitive advantage aspects was, overall, in favorable view (x̄ = 4.00) and 2) qualitative characteristics of financial information in regard to decision-making, comparability, verifiability and comprehensibility affected the competitive advantages in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with statistical significance at .05 level.</p> Anocha Rojanapanich Copyright (c) 2024 Journal of Innovation and Management https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2024-04-04 2024-04-04 9 1 23 36 Ariyasacca 4 and SEM https://so03.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/journalcim/article/view/275877 <p>The three objectives of this academic paper are (1) to explain the concepts of Ariyasacca 4 (the Four Noble Truths) and Structural Equation Model (SEM), (2) to explain the similarities and differences between Ariyasacca 4 and SEM, and (3) to propose the guidelines for applying Ariyasacca 4 and SEM in social science research. The main points in the article include the concepts of Ariyasacca 4 and SEM, the similarities and differences between Ariyasacca 4 and SEM, and the guidelines for applying Ariyasacca 4 and SEM in social science research. Ariyasacca 4 is a Buddhist principle that can be applied in educational research while SEM is an advanced statistical analysis technique.
