ทำไมต้องลิเคิร์ต?

มาตรประเมินรวมค่าเป็นเครื่องมือวิจัยที่นำมาใช้ในการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณทางสังคมศาสตร์ และในบริบทของการวิจัยทางสังคมศาสตร์ในประเทศไทยมีการนำมาใช้อย่างแพร่หลาย บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 3 ข้อ คือ (1) เพื่ออธิบายแนวคิดและหลักการสำคัญของเครื่องมือในการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ (2) เพื่ออธิบายคุณลักษณะของมาตรประเมินรวมค่าของ Likert ตามต้นฉบับของผู้คิดค้น และ (3) เพื่อนำเสนอทางเลือกในการใช้มาตรประเมินรวมค่าในการวิจัยทางสังคมศาสตร์ บทความเรื่องนี้มาจากการศึกษาจากเอกสารที่เกี่ยวข้องในเชิงแนวคิด หลักการ และคุณลักษณะของมาตรประเมินรวมค่า ทำให้ได้ทางเลือกในการใช้มาตรประเมินรวมค่าหลายแบบเพื่อใช้ในการวิจัยทางสังคมศาสตร์ที่นักวิจัยสามารถเลือกนำไปปรับใช้ได้ให้เหมาะสม
