Abstract

The objectives of the research are as follows; 1) To study the demographic characteristics of the sample group that affect the efficiency of effective construction engineering management in the digital age for the petrochemical industry business in the PTT Public Company Limited group, 2) To study the important factors according to the 7S-Model organizational management concept that affect the efficient management of construction engineering in the digital age for the petrochemical industry business in the PTT Public Company Limited group, and 3) To find a model for effective construction engineering management in the digital age for the petrochemical industry in the PTT Public Company Limited group. The quantitative data collection using questionnaires administered to a sample of 400 people and the qualitative data was collected by in-depth interviews with project managers who were middle-level executives from a sample of 10 people at IRPC Public Company Limited. Statistical analysis included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, T-test, F-test, and multiple regression analysis. The research results found that the effective construction engineering management model in the digital age for the petrochemical industry of PTT Public Company Limited consisted of important factors related to the 7S-Model organizational management concept. It was found that the top 3 most appropriate components were 1) strategy factors, 2) work skills factors, and 3) shared values factors. For the organizational management perspective factors according to the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) concept, it was found that the component with the highest appropriate mean was the internal process improvement factor. For the Multiple Regression Analysis, it was found that the 3 independent variables (original variables), consisting of 1) management style, 2) shared values, and 3) personnel, were significantly related to the efficiency of construction engineering management in the digital age at the 0.05 level.
