Abstract

This research study aims to development guidelines for tourism in Thailand to value added in the digital age. The qualitative research was collected from interviews with practitioners in the ministry of tourism and sports, tourism authority of Thailand, travel companies that use electronics to run business, other relevant public sectors and tourists who use electronic systems for tourism in Bangkok. The result that the development guidelines for tourism in Thailand to value added in the digital age, It should consist of 4 guidelines including (1) Digitalization by developing projects or activities to support tourism activities through communication and digital systems for consumers, (2) Drive on information by encouraging public relations of information through communication and digital systems, (3) Marketing on social media space by promoting and supporting online activities And increasing the characteristics of the target customers to be diverse and set the characteristics of target customers consistent and appropriate for the designed online activities, and (4) Communicate all platform by choosing to use both online and offline communication channels to present information for target customers.
