The Effects of Sungkhahawatthu 4 to Develop Public Mind for second Year Undergrad Students Faculty of Education Kasetsart University

บทคัดย่อ

       The purposes of this research were: 1) to develop the Sungkhahawatthu 4 2) to study the effects of Sungkhahawatthu 4 to develop public mind for second year undergrad students, faculty of education, Kasetsart University 3) to compare public mind enhancing of students who participated and not participated in the program. This research was the quasi-experimental. The population consists of 185 second year students in the first semester of the academic year 2016. The sample is obtained by sampling from studied students in department of Educational Psychology and Guidance by using the public mind test. Moreover, this research is explained experimental program procedure to query the students who have voluntariness. The 24 students were divided by control group (12 students) and experimental group (12 students). The students of experimental group were tested the program for 12 sessions, 50 minutes per each session. The instruments for study this research were used: 1) the Sungkhahawatthu 4 to Develop Public Mind 2) the Public Mind Test 3) the Student’s Self-Report in each session and 4) the Student’s Opinion Questionnaire towards the Program and the Researcher. Mean, standard deviation, summary content, (Non Parametric Statistics) The Wilcoxon Matches Pairs Signed Rank Test and The Mann -Whitney U Test were utilized for analyzing data.
       The research results indicated that: 1) the posttest scores from the Public Mind Test of the experimental group were higher than theirs pretest scores at .05 level of significance. 2) the posttest scores from the Sungkhahawatthu 4 to Develop Public Mind Test of the experimental group were higher than posttest scores of the control group at .05 level of significance.
