A Strategy for Developing the Leadership of the Executives of ChaiyaphumRajabhat University

The objectives of this research were 1) to study the situation of implementation of the strategy for developing the leadership of the executives of ChaiyabhumiRajabhat University and 2) to develop the strategy for enhancement of the leadership of the executives of the said university, The samplings were 12 executives, 88 lecturers and 86 staff members, to make the total number of 186 altogether. The tools used for this research were focus group and with IOC having value between 0.85 – 1.00, and confidence was as totally at 0.99, The data analysis was made by computer program. The percentage, mean, and standard deviation were practiced for quantitative statistics descriptive analysis.

The results of the study were as follows:

  1. The situation of implementation of  the strategy for developing the leadership of executives of ChaiyaphumRajabhat University was found to be ‘Much’ in both overall and individual aspects. The item that stood high on top of the scale was the achievement-oriented motivation, followed by the aspect of the courage to change or initiative, and internal relation creation, respectively. The aspect that remained at the bottom was the systematic creation of knowledge.
  2. The criteria set for the suitability and probability of the strategy for developing the leadership of the executives of ChaiyaphumRajabhat University were mean at 3.50 up  and quartile range at 0. 87. The study showed the following: The systematic creation of knowledge featured the mean at 4.08 and quartile range at 0.87 in term of suitability, and the mean at 4.16 and quartile range at 0.79 in term of probability. For the internal  relation creation, the mean was at 4.08 and quartile range at 0.81 in term of suitability, but in term of probability the mean was at 4.12 and quartile range at 0.80, respectively. For the courage to change or initiative, the mean stood at 4.12, and quartile range at 0.80 in term of suitability,  whereas the probability featured the mean at 4.15 and quartile range at 0.79. Regarding the item of achievement-oriented motivation, the mean remained at 4.05 and quartile range at 0.77 in term of suitability, and in term of probability, the mean was at 4.15 and quartile range at 0.79, respectively. To conclude, both mean and quartile range passed the criteria set.
  3. A Strategy for Developing the Leadership of the Executives of ChaiyabhumiRajabhat University have vision are the leadership of the executives of ChaiyabhumiRajabhat University affect to management efficiency and effectivenessto Learning Organization consisting of 4 strategy including :  1)   the objectives of the systematic creation of knowledge is the Executives of ChaiyabhumiRajabhat University have been developed knowledge and  organization management skill under 7 mission, 17 projects/activities, 10 results and of 13 indicators, 2)  the objectives of  The internal relation creation are ChaiyabhumiRajabhat University has done coordination and cooperation under 6 mission, 22 projects/activities, 12 results and of 16 indicators, 3) the objectives of The courage to change or initiative is leadership as decision  making  and creative under 6 mission, 29 projects/activities, 12 results and of 15 indicators, 4) the objectives of  The achievement-orientated motivation is the Executives of ChaiyabhumiRajabhat University can motivate  for employees to work with commitment and achievement oriented under 6 mission, 32 projects/activities, 12 results and of 13 indicators.
