The severe political confl icts currently occurring throughout the country
leave a chasm of political polarity that expands to various levels. The confl icts
arrive and stay in the feeling of disparity: the people feel they are deprived
of justice. Not only do they look for legal justice, but also the social justice.
The polarity cannot lead us out of the confl icts. The reconciliation will not take
place without attentive listening, a crucial skill for the solution. It will not be
possible to follow His Majesty the King us advice if we fail to listen with our
ears and our hearts. The two organs work together to bring about understanding,
and lead to solidarity.
The use of dialogues and public dialogues as a tool enables us to listen
attentively and seek a solution before the crises in Thailand go out of hand. Hence
a network of dialogues for peace is creating a momentum, driving the Thai society
towards seeking peaceful answers for the nation.
