Being Learners in 21st Century: Teacher and Nursing Students’ Perspectives

บทคัดย่อ

This descriptive qualitative research aimed to study experiences of being learners in the 21st century according to the teacher and nursing students’ perspective. Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Prabutthabat, Saraburi.  Data was corrected from 8 of first year nursing students, 7 of second year nursing students, 10 of third year nursing students and 5 of teachers. Participants were totally 25 nursing students and 5 teachers.  In deep Interviewing and tape recording were used to collect data. Data were transcribed verbatim and analyzed by using Colaizzi method.
     The study found that teachers and students reflect the views of learners in the 21st century in 2 themes. Firstly, the efficacy of learners in the 21st century was that students who are interested in learning all the time. Students used critical thinking to cope with problems. Students can apply technology to their education. Students had moral, ethic, and humanized service mind.  Lastly, learners in the 21st century learned by doing, media, and new technologies. The results will lead to appropriate teaching methods for learners in 21st centuries in other institutions.
