This thesis aims to: 1) study theoretical principles of communication for peace according to Theravada Buddhism, 2) study communication pattern in the online media of Komchadluek’s website, and 3) critically analyze communication pattern for peace in online media according to Buddhist Peaceful means.
From the analysis, it is found the following: in relation with principles of communication for peace according to Theravada Buddhism, the usage of ‘the Right Speech’ with five factors of truth, pleasure for hearing, proper time, usefulness and loving-kindness, is the basic Dhamma that helps humans stay peacefully together.   The Buddha, who was the role model in using the Right Speech, would consider these factors under six conditions, which are 1) Untrue, inaccurate, useless, unloved and unsatisfactory words would not be said by the Buddha; 2) True, accurate, useless, unloved and unsatisfactory words would not be said by the Buddha; 3) True, accurate, useful, unloved and unsatisfactory words would be timely said by the Buddha; 4) Untrue, inaccurate, useless, beloved and satisfactory words would not be said by the Buddha; 5) True, accurate, useless, beloved and satisfactory words would not be said by the Buddha; and 6)  True, accurate, useful, beloved and satisfactory words would be timely said.   Apparently, there were two conditions that the Buddha considered the proper time of saying.
For general theoretical principles of communication and communication for peace, they are in line of those factors of ‘the Right Speech’ despite having different dimensional strong points; general communication, especially the online media has the strength of fast information spreading; while communication for peace is strong in taking part of making benefits to the society.
From the analysis, it reveals that Komchadluek has performed its duties reflecting communication context according to ‘the Right Speech’ with a model called “Fourteen Sor.”, which represents five important ideas whose spelling in Thai language starts with the 40th alphabet, meaning: essential communication, relational continuation, proper time, peaceful society and peace building; these aim to politely communicate at proper time for usefulness, which lead to continual relationship among people in the society that they will neither be angry with, nor hate each other.  This eventually causes value and enhances social peace at some levels.
