The Behavior Modification of the Women Who Practice Vipasanā Meditation in the Contemporary Thai Societies

บทคัดย่อ

This article aimed to study the behavior modification of the women who practice Vipassana meditation in the contemporary Thai societies. This research is of the mixed methods research, applying both the quantitative and the qualitative approaches.
        The results of the study were found that the all key informants women have knowledge and understanding of Vipassana Meditation practice correctly. Those women can be treated as a part of everyday life and is available in real life. When there are events that affect women who provide critical information can be mindfully aware of the current pace. The principle and the metrology are the equally continual practice with the mindfulness at the present moment. They can control themselves very well on side of 1) the bodies, 2) the speech, 3) the thoughts and 4) the emotion. All the data are in camphene with the exemplary women are of the bases of the understanding of the practice of the Insight Meditation the  average  of  the bodies, the speech, the thoughts and the emotion before the  practice  is at a middle level, after the practice is at a high level. The significance which used the test of the statistic is different from a t-dependent; it is different in the statistical significance at 0.05 level.
