THE RULE OF LAW AND THE RECONCILIATION BY BUDDHIST WAYS IN THAI SOCIETY

บทคัดย่อ

This article is a part of the research study report entitled “The Development the Rule of Law and Reconciliation by Buddhist Ways IN Thai Society”. The objectives of the study aimed to search for the concepts and components of the rule of law principles compatible with the Buddhist ways in the reconciliation of Thai society, after long timed political, economic, social and cultural conflicts since the political reform under the 2540 B.E and 2550 B.E. Constitutions of the Kingdom of Thailand. This research applied a Qualitative Research with documentary research method by collecting the secondary data from all documents concerned and case studies research method by collecting primary data from the in-depth interviews and focus group discussion with three groups of keys informants, who were specified expertise from public sectors, private sectors and academic sectors. All collected data were analyzed by content analysis, comparative analysis and logical analysis of legal method under the triangulation analysis process of qualitative research method for conclusion and recommendations of this research.
     The results of this research found out that the rule of law that was principal pillars of the protection of democracy regime and human rights of the people is compatible with the principles and mechanism for reconciliation by Buddhist ways in Thai society, which shall be an innovation on mechanism of reconciliation by Buddhist ways for solving social conflict to build up a successful Dhrammacracy society in Thailand.
