ถูกต้องแต่ไม่ถูกใจ : การโฆษณา การสื่อสาร และความท้าทาย ของบริการยุติการตั้งครรภ์ในประเทศไทย

บทคัดย่อ
บทความวิชาการนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์และสังเคราะห์สภาพปัจจุบันของการสื่อสารเพื่อเข้าถึงบริการยุติการตั้งครรภ์อย่างปลอดภัย โดยการทบทวนวรรณกรรมทั้งในประเทศและต่างประเทศ ผลการศึกษาพบว่าประเทศไทยมีการประกาศใช้กฎหมายเพื่อรองรับการยุติการตั้งครรภ์อย่างปลอดภัย และมีสายด่วนการตั้งครรภ์ไม่พร้อม (1663) ดำเนินการในฐานะเป็นหน่วยให้คำปรึกษา คัดกรอง และส่งต่อผู้รับบริการไปยังสถานพยาบาลตามสิทธิประโยชน์ แต่ด้วยบริบทของสังคมไทยที่ไม่สามารถสื่อสารเรื่องการยุติการตั้งครรภ์ได้อย่างเปิดเผยและชัดเจน ส่งผลให้เกิดข้อจำกัดในการเข้าถึงบริการยุติการตั้งครรภ์อย่างปลอดภัย และเกิดช่องว่างในการโฆษณาขายยาทำแท้งแบบผิดกฎหมายผ่านสื่อสังคมออนไลน์ เมื่อเปรียบเทียบกับการดำเนินงานสายด่วนตั้งครรภ์ไม่พร้อมในต่างประเทศ พบว่า การสื่อสารเพื่อการยุติการตั้งครรภ์อย่างปลอดภัยมีลักษณะเปิดเผยและชัดเจนมากกว่า สามารถสื่อสารให้ข้อมูลกับผู้รับบริการได้อย่างชัดเจน ทั้งการเข้ารับคำปรึกษา การใช้ยาด้วยตนเอง การเข้าถึงแหล่งทุนทรัพย์ การถ่ายทอดประสบการณ์การยุติการตั้งครรภ์ด้วยตนเองผ่านทางวีดีโอ หรือการใช้สื่อสังคมออนไลน์เพื่อเผยแพร่ข้อมูลที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการยุติการตั้งครรภ์ ดังนั้น ประเทศไทยจึงควรมีการถอดบทเรียนทั้งในและต่างประเทศ และศึกษาวิจัยเพื่อหาแนวทางในการสื่อสารเรื่องการยุติการตั้งครรภ์อย่างปลอดภัยให้มีความเหมาะสมกับบริบทของสังคม เพิ่มการรับรู้และช่วยให้ประชาชนเข้าถึงบริการยุติการตั้งครรภ์ที่ถูกต้องตามกฎหมายและมีความปลอดภัย ซึ่งจะช่วยลดภาระงบประมาณและการสูญเสียทรัพยากรมนุษย์ได้
