Abstract

The objectives of this research are: 1) to develop and verify a causal relationship model of modern leadership performance in PhraPariyatti-Dhamma Schools, 2) to analyze the role of leadership performance as a mediating variable, and 3) to gain insights and provide recommendations for managing and developing school administrators' performance. This study employs a mixed-methods research approach to analyze the consistency with empirical data developed according to theoretical concepts. The research tools include a quantitative survey with 408 leaders and school administrators and in-depth interviews with 20 key informants from the Central region. The research findings revealed that: 1) The causal relationship model of modern leadership performance highlights the importance of management skills and self-development in ethics and professional standards, and internal quality assurance systems for administrators in improving their leadership performance. Key leadership competencies identified include leadership, strategic management, change management, and results-oriented management. In-depth interviews emphasized that relationship management skills are highly significant, with direct causal relationships between leadership, self-development, and quality assurance systems of administrators. 2) The causal relationship of modern leadership performance is influenced by leadership and self-development focused on educational innovation, driven by strategic leaders with broad vision. Change-oriented and results-oriented leaders impact the academic and budget management aspects of school administrators, emphasizing self-development, ethics, professional standards, personnel management, and general administration. 3)The management and development of modern leadership performance are influenced by internal and external quality assurance systems, focusing on strategic leadership competencies that have causal relationships with academic, budget, and personnel management.
