Abstract
This article aims to introduce performance art by focusing on its
characteristic and its genesis. Moreover, art works of the main artists and
their signification will be initially analyzed. The explanation of how such
kind of art works is also included; it is considered as an important tool
for human and social exploration in contemporary world.
