Political Science and Political Stability in Thailand

Political Science has normally related to Political Education for Democracy to apparent that there has been a weakness. Theses result from the lack of academic specialists’ knowledge and policy support from prior government.
Noticeably, major influences divided into school curriculum, instructor and teacher’s educational scheme, including Democratic tradition would not be developed promptly, which impact directly on new generation’s lost opportunity to become knowledgeable populations in understanding Democracy’s regime and way of life.
To begin with, it is necessary that the fundamental knowledge about political science in particular with content and activities for student from a primary school to higher education. The second, understanding the political science’s processes would be reinforced along with course content and activities to students throughout university, not only in Political Sciences Faculty. Thirdly, it should have reformation of curriculum and training process in Armed Forces Academies Preparatory School and group of cadet -- a young trainee in the armed services or police force in order to be socialized and support in Democratic Political Culture. In addition, Student Exchange Program between soldier and police academies and university, also participation among students for idea exchange would benefit the combination of political culture in each level of education. Additionally, the transformation of journalism is the fourth concerns. The content should be identified covering the process of understanding regards to Democracy in public through each category of journalism appropriately. Finally, the term curriculum of education in each organizations naming private company, public section and civil society would insinuate the content and activities regarding to support people’s way of life in political democracy.
