Suzhou, renowned for its architectural heritage, including the art of lattice windows in its gardens, is a focus of cultural and educational significance. This research investigates the incorporation of traditional lattice windows into modern design education in Suzhou. Utilizing literature reviews, field studies, and case analyses, the study explores effective methods to integrate traditional cultural elements into contemporary educational frameworks. Results indicate that incorporating Suzhou lattice windows enriches curriculum content, boosts students' creativity, and enhances their understanding of cultural heritage. This fosters a deeper cultural identity and improves design skills, offering valuable insights for advancing design education and preserving cultural heritage.
