Study and analysis of contemporary creative painting works by artists In Suratthani for art work creation

Abstract

The research project entitled “Study and analysis of contemporary creative painting works by artists In Surat Thani for art work creation.” has three main objectives including 1. to analyze the concepts, styles and
techniques of paintings which were created by 3 artists from Surat Thani Province. It found that the artists had their own different creative ideas and obviously unique works; 2. to analyze the ideas and styles of paintings of the artists from Surat Thani relating to the creative process of the researcher. It revealed an important concept about the object lust which was the cause for a connection and consistency between the artists and the researcher; 3. to create some contemporary art works according to the researcher’s idea which is connected and consistent to the 3 artists. This found that theconnection and consistency concept can lead to a creative process and technical strategy in creating an art work.The results of this research can be summed up in three common points relating to the idea behind the painting of the researcher as follows : 1) Family background 2) Media and Technology 3) Social and Environment. According to this essence, an oil painting series entitled “Time of Body” No. 1-12 were created by the researcher with the oil technique on 70x90 cm canvas.
