“การออกแบบร่วมกัน” นวัตกรรมการวิจัยเพื่อพัฒนานโยบายป้องกัน การพลัดตกหกล้มของผู้สูงอายุในประเทศไทย

บทคัดย่อ
บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนามาตรการป้องกันอุบัติเหตุพลัดตกหกล้มในระดับปฐมภูมิ (primary prevention) ของผู้สูงอายุตามปัจจัยเสี่ยง โดยใช้วิธีวิทยาการวิจัยการออกแบบร่วมกัน (co-design) โดยมีพื้นที่ในการศึกษาวิจัย 5 จังหวัด ได้แก่ พะเยา ตราด อุบลราชธานี ตรัง และ กรุงเทพฯ และมีการคัดเลือกผู้มีส่วนร่วมในการวิจัยแบบเฉพาะเจาะจง ประกอบไปด้วยผู้ปฏิบัติงาน/นักวิชาการ และผู้แทนภาคประชาชน รวมทั้งสิ้น 159 คน เครื่องมือในการเก็บข้อมูลประกอบด้วย กระดาษชาร์ทเพื่อระดมความคิด และวงล้ออนาคต (future wheels) วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้วิธีวิเคราะห์เนื้อหาแล้วเขียนบรรยายเชิงพรรณนา
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า มาตรการป้องกันอุบัติเหตุพลัดตกหกล้มในผู้สูงอายุที่เกิดขึ้นจากกระบวนการกลุ่มในระดับพื้นที่ ประกอบด้วย 7 กลุ่มมาตรการ คือ 1) การเตรียมพร้อมก่อนวัยสูงอายุ 2) การให้ความรู้ผู้สูงอายุ 3) การจัดกิจกรรมสำหรับผู้สูงอายุ 4) การคัดกรองปัญหาสุขภาพผู้สูงอายุ 5) การจัดหาผู้ดูแลผู้สูงอายุ 6) การปรับสภาพบ้านสำหรับผู้สูงอายุ และ 7) การสนับสนุนอุปกรณ์ป้องกันการหกล้ม ข้อค้นพบจากงานวิจัยนี้พบว่า หากหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง ภาคีเครือข่าย ตลอดจนประชาชนให้ความสำคัญ และร่วมกันดำเนินงานตามมาตรการทั้ง 7 กลุ่มมาตรการ จะก่อให้ผลกระทบอย่างเป็นระบบทั้งในระดับบุคคล ระดับชุมชน และระดับสังคม
